Weighing and measuring has some benefits for those that want to take the time to do this. I've decided to Not weight and measure, after years of doing so, mostly because there was a natural point of diminishing returns for me. If your goal is to lose weight or you have trouble with portion control, then I would suggest weighing and measuring. If you have good self discipline, and know the difference between your mouth and a vacuum cleaner, then maybe it is a great time expense that you can do with out. I really think that in the beginning of your quest of being fit that you might give weighing and measuring a try. after a while once you get it you can probably let it go.
